NYSSCPA President Alan E. Weiner recently met with Wall Street Journal Tax Report writer Tom Herman to discuss a variety of accounting and Society issues. Their breakfast conversation resulted in Weiner being quoted in the front-page column two weeks in a row--on CPA license plates and the IRS.

The Society's public relations department arranged the meeting to strengthen relations with The Wall Street Journal. The department works with members in every chapter to gain local and national media exposure. The Society seeks input from members throughout the state.
