Message From the President

By Patricia G. Wright, Brooklyn Chapter President

To all our members, associates and friends of the NYSSCPA Brooklyn Chapter, I trust that the holiday season was a very happy and healthy one. As we begin 2005, we will all be making preparations for another grueling tax season.

I want to take this time to thank every member who participated in our seminars in 2004. We had some great sessions, great speakers and, above all, we shared wonderful meeting sessions with the Manhattan/Bronx Chapter, thanks to the generosity of the Hudson Valley National Bank.

We worked hard in 2004 to bring our members informed updated tax and retirement planning information, which is always needed to ensure that professionals have the necessary tools to provide their clients with current and accurate information.
The Brooklyn Chapter once again joined forces with the Internal Revenue Service to offer the fourth annual Tax Update, on Jan. 6, with IRS professional answers to hard questions on current issues.

Finally, I look forward to hearing from you. Above all, get involved, and make a difference in someone else’s life.

Until next time, stay connected by visiting us on the web.

Pat Wright can be reached at 212-759-6556, ext. 122, or P_wright@starrllc.com.
