Message From the President

In the first month of the new fiscal year, the Adirondack Chapter held its organizational meeting at the Malone Country Club, following a round of golf played by many members. We had a very positive turnout, with many new members making their first appearances at a chapter event. We held the election of officers and organizational meetings.
At the meeting, we established the upcoming year calendar of events. Plan to attend:

Nov. 9: Educational Event, in Lake Placid. We hope to host the IDAs of Franklin, Clinton and Essex counties, along with their counterparts in the Empire Zone, as well as a representative from the New York Business Development Corp. (NYBDC). Along with NYBDC, the presentations will cover what is available for our clients in the areas of development and financing.
- Dec. 1: Annual Tax Update, also in Lake Placid.
