Don’t Miss Out—Volunteer for New York Cares, Oct. 18

Every October, the volunteer service organization New York Cares mobilizes thousands of volunteers to revitalize New York City’s public schools in one amazing day. Last year, over 320 corporate, civic and youth teams lent a helping hand to this incredible effort by painting, cleaning and renewing schoolyards, classrooms, libraries and more.

This year the Manhattan/Bronx Chapter is forming a team to volunteer in this one-day New York Cares event. The date is Saturday, Oct. 18.

We hope that you and your friends, relatives and neighbors can participate with the Manhattan/Bronx Chapter team!
Each month, New York Cares (www.nycares.org) organizes 3,000 volunteers to take part in a variety of flexibly scheduled, team-based projects that have a dramatic impact on the lives of New Yorkers in need. The organization targets a wide range of goals, from helping adults and children with special needs to aiding holiday needs for the homeless.
