FAQs, cyberspeak for frequently asked questions, is a feature of The Trusted Professional that answers common questions about www.nysscpa.org. Members who have questions or suggestions about the website can post inquiries and comments by clicking on the Technical Problem and Website Suggestion links at the bottom of the home page.

The following are recent inquiries posed to the website editors:

I am not included in the member directory, yet I am an active NYSSCPA member. Why not?

If you do not belong to one of the four chapters participating in the online directory--Buffalo, Rochester, Staten Island, and Westchester--you will not find yourself listed. All members, however, can access the directory in a password-protected section of the site, and can search it by last name, certificate number, and chapter. If your chapter does not currently have a chapter directory, speak to your chapter president, who can contact the Society for direction on how to proceed.

I can't find FASB summaries listed in the Member Services section of the Find It Fast menu anymore. Do you still feature them?

Yes, and we recently updated them. Website staff members compiled the About the Society and Member Benefits sections as well as other helpful information into a new section called Professional Library to make it easier to find the technical resources you need. *
