Forensic and Litigation Directory Now on Website

NYSSCPA members who provide forensic and litigation services now have a key Society outlet to communicate their expertise to potential clients--the Forensic and Litigation Services Directory, available online at www.nysscpa.org/prof_library/forensic.htm.

This new member service lists more than 90 CPAs and firms specializing in the diverse and growing area of forensic and litigation services. The directory is an outgrowth of the increased interest of Society members who want to offer their expertise to the legal profession and the public at large.

The NYSSCPA Litigation Support Committee helped prepare the directory, which profiles CPA specialists with detailed descriptions including qualifications, expertise, and experience. It also provides phone, fax, e-mail, and website information for each listing. In addition, it lists specialists by area of expertise: alternative dispute resolution, bankruptcy and insolvency/reorganization, damage assessment/economic and liability analysis, divorce/domestic relations, forensic accounting/fraud investigation, professional liability, taxation and accounting/FASB, and business valuation and appraisal services. A county listing enables searchers to locate quickly professionals in their geographic areas.
