On the Road With NYSSCPA.ORG

The New York State Society of CPAs is pleased to announce a significant upgrade to our nysscpa.org e-mail service. All members of the Society are entitled to a free e-mail account as a benefit of membership.

Effective March 4, members with a free nysscpa.org e-mail account will be able to access their e-mail from anywhere in the world via a computer that is connected to the Internet. When you connect, you will be able to consult an address book and calendar to help you manage your personal schedule and key contacts. All members who currently enjoy this service have been sent a more detailed announcement.

This upgrade will make the users’ time in and out of the office more valuable. For example, your office can update your calendar and contact list while you are on the road or in the air. When you get to a computer, you can review your new schedule or view newly uploaded contact data on a key client. The bottom line is more efficiency. That is what technology is all about.

Please keep in mind that a free e-mail account is not the same thing as Internet access. For access to the Internet, you need an Internet Service Provider (ISP).
