Over 20 firms and local businesses served as drop-off locations for donations and the Suffolk chapter also made its own contribution. Local representatives from U.S. Marine Corps, the Toys for Tots program's sponsor, expressed thanks and complimented the chapter on what they said was the largest contribution that they had received from a single organization.

In addition to the collections by the firms and businesses, the committee also co-sponsored its second annual holiday party with the NYSSCPA Nassau Chapter's Young CPAs Committee, where over 40 forty people (including three Marines) participated and brought toys to benefit the program.

The Suffolk committee extends its appreciation to the following firms and their employees for helping make a difference this holiday season for hundreds of children on Long Island:
