January 1999 Issue Century Business Services Forms Alliance with Merrill Lynch Century Business Services recently announced that its Century Retirement and Wealth Management Services subsidiary has entered into a strategic national alliance to offer Merrill Lynch's financial products and services to Century's clients. "This strategic alliance opens a new world of opportunities for Century and its vast client base," Century's President and Chief Executive Officer Michael G. DeGroote said. "Working with Merrill Lynch will allow Century's clients the opportunity to utilize the highest quality and broadest range of financial products and planning services available." Century Business Services is a rapidly growing provider of professional business services and products to small and mid-sized businesses. In the past few years the company has acquired a number of CPA firms throughout the United States; it entered the New York market last fall with its purchase of Saltzer, Lassar, Piccinnini & Co., LLP. * |
