Will the CPA recommend an insurance policy because it pays the highest commission? As described above, unless the CPA honestly believes that the policy is in the best interest of the client, by recommending such a policy the CPA would be violating the NYSSCPA Code of Professional Conduct and could be committing unprofessional conduct. |
