YORK, NEW YORK, November 1, 2003 – The New York State
Society of Certified Public Accountants has announced its annual
Excellence in Financial Journalism Award competition to recognize
reporters from the national and local media who contribute to a
better understanding of business topics. The Society presents awards
in print, radio, television, wire service and electric media published
or broadcast between January 1 and December 31, 2003. Deadline for
entries is February 1, 2004.
An application
for the Excellence in Financial
Journalism Award can be obtained in the Press Room at the Society’s
