Get Involved in a Committee

I would like to take this opportunity to say hello to all chapter members as we start another fiscal year. The slate of officers for this year includes myself as president, Tom VanHatten as President-Elect, Tricia Lucas as Treasurer and Eileen Hamlin as Secretary.

It is my goal this year to involve as many members as possible in our organization. We presently have openings in many committee slots. If you are interested in helping our organization, you can reach me at djw@rfcpa.net or by phone at 315-724-2145. I really think that the more people that get involved, the more ideas and information will be brought to the organization. This, in turn, will benefit everyone.

I also anticipate having a preliminary schedule of events for the year by about the middle of July. The planned-event schedule will be distributed to all members so that you will be able to plan your schedule accordingly. Hopefully our first planned event will be the annual golf outing, which generally takes place toward the end of August.

Finally, I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to our outgoing President Robert Ritz for a job well done.
