Off and Running By Judy Seidman, Manhattan/Bronx Chapter President Greetings to all members and supporters of the Manhattan/Bronx Chapter. We are off and running as we start the new fiscal year. This will be our fifth year as an official chapter. We have a lot of past accomplishments to be proud of and a lot more to do. Your board of directors is busy planning many activities for you in the coming year, which I will be sharing with you in future editions of this column. As I start my term as President, I consider myself fortunate to have last year’s President, Barry Doll, on the board of the chapter. I plan to proudly follow in his footsteps, and I will look to him for guidance. I would also like to recognize Peter Frank as President-Elect, who will also be playing an active role this coming year. So, for those of you who know these two gentlemen, you can see that I will be in good company. You can view the chapter’s calendar of events and activities on the Society’s website, www.nysscpa.org, by selecting “Find Chapters” and then “Manhattan/Bronx.” Our next event will be the Golf & Tennis Classic on July 18 at the Elmwood Country Club. Come one and all to what promises to be a fun-filled day combined with networking opportunities as well. I would like to congratulate the Young CPA Committee on the success of its first Atlantic City bus trip.
