Society Recognizes Members of the Media for Important Editorial Contributions The New York State Society of CPAs has named the winners of this year’s Excellence in Financial Journalism Awards. CPAs and representatives from the New York Financial Writers Association judged the entries for accuracy and thorough research, the ability to communicate a sound understanding of the topic, and fair and balanced reporting. The Excellence in Financial Journalism Awards recognize reporters from the national and local press who contribute to a better comprehension of business topics. A luncheon honoring these journalists will be held at the Yale Club in Manhattan on May 3. The following
