Nassau Committees Continue With Meetings, Programs

By Robert J. Schaffer, Nassau Chapter President

I hope everyone is surviving busy season. Thankfully, it will soon be over.

A few of our committees have continued with programs through busy season. Our large and small firm Management of Accounting Practice Committee and our CFOs and Financial Executives Committee have held one or two meetings each.

Please join these committees for meetings that will give you important information that will help you through busy season. All contact information can be found in our September newsletter, available online, or you are welcome to contact me.

Our March chapter meeting is being held on Wednesday, March 16, at the Crest Hollow Country Club. The meeting will be held jointly with the Suffolk Chapter and is sponsored by the Cooperation with Bankers and Other Credit Grantors Committee.

Our featured guest speaker is John Kominicki, the publisher of the Long Island Business News. Details were in the previous issue and are online on our website. Our thanks go to Frank Scala for planning this event.

We are continuing to plan events now for the spring. We have some exciting things planned, so watch for them. Our events can be found in our newsletter, which is available both in print and on our Nassau website.

I will keep this brief as I know we are all busy. Have a good rest-of-busy-season.

If anyone has any comments about our existing programs or suggestions about programs we can create, please do not hesitate to contact me at rschaffer@schwartz-cpas.com or 516-409-5000.
