Chapters’
Young CPAs Committees Open Events to College Students
Almost all of the 17 chapters of the New York State Society of CPAs have Young CPAs Committees that meet regularly and organize special social, professional and community service events throughout the year. These have included trips to Atlantic City, museum visits, boat cruises, vineyard tours, happy hours, golf outings and high school visitation programs. Many of the Young CPAs Committees are just getting started and are eager for college students in the area to join. By becoming a student member of the Society for just $5, you can participate in all of these events and get a jump on career networking. The events are usually open to all chapter members, including prospective members. You can learn more about a chapter near you by visiting www.nysscpa.org and clicking on “Find Chapters” on the toolbar at left. Or flip to pages 29 and 30 to check out some photos from recent events. Following is a list of Young CPAs Committee chairs who want to hear from you if you’re interested in getting involved. Several chapters have events open to college students coming up right around the corner. E-mail them today! |
