Society Partners with ADP for New Membership Benefits In September, the Society entered into an alliance with ADP Small Business Services that allows Society members and their clients to receive special pricing on ADP’s payroll, tax processing, retirement and insurance services for small businesses. As part of that alliance, members will receive accountant-focused business services information, with announcements targeted specifically to NYSSCPA members. “As a society, our goal is to help contribute to the success of our members,” said Don Kiamie, chairman of the Member Benefits Committee. “This relationship with ADP gives our members access to the best-in-class provider of the services that will help them to grow their practice.” One highlight of the NYSSCPA/ADP relationship is member access to ADP’s EasyPay payroll service. This small-business payroll service provides users with calculation, payment and filing of federal, state and local payroll taxes, signed payroll checks and direct deposit vouchers, a comprehensive set of payroll reports and a choice of payroll entry method. The company also provides a secure Web-based application that allows accountants and small businesses to electronically share payroll-related data. Payroll and other business solutions for clients, regardless of the number of employees, are also available from ADP. As part of the deal between the Society and ADP, and upon request to an ADP representative, NYSSCPA members can receive complimentary Commerce Clearing House (CCH) tax guides and access to an online CCH tax research library. Also, ADP will participate in NYSSCPA events to offer members insight into its offering of products and services, such as retirement savings administration and workers’ compensation insurance. “We are pleased to be selected as a partner of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants,” said Richard Watson, Vice President, Product Management and Accounting Services, ADP Small Business Services. “ADP is committed to serving New York’s accountant community. By connecting with members of the Society at the local level, ADP can be sure that it is providing the right tools to help them meet the needs of their clients and grow their business.” ADP’s representatives in New York are available to answer questions or provide additional information.
