For nearly 50 years, the NYSSCPA Benevolent Fund provided voluntary financial assistance to members or former members of the Society and their families in need.

As of November 30, 2009, the NYSSCPA Benevolent Fund was dissolved and merged into the Foundation for Accounting Education (FAE). FAE has formed a Special Committee-the FAE Benevolent Fund Committee-to devise updated application guidelines and procedures.
