Last year, the Foundation for Accounting Education (FAE) began its paperless initiative to help you improve your efficiency and effectiveness by taking steps toward paperless programming. In 2011, we made major strides toward reaching this goal. Many FAE registrants provided valuable feedback regarding the paperless initiative, and we have made improvements to further enhance your FAE experience.
In 2012, FAE registrants will continue to access all FAE-developed conference and seminar materials online through a user portal that will host all materials for all the paperless FAE events that you register for.
Within five business days of the program date, you will receive a link to your online events hosting account page. From there, you may download the program materials for the upcoming event, then choose to either save them to your computer or flash drive, or print all or some of the files. You can also access this account page by visiting
www.nysscpa.org/paperlessmaterials.
Although the use of laptops is not supported at FAE events, please feel free to download the material onto your tablet or e-reader and bring it with you. Please be aware that for safety reasons, FAE cannot provide power strips or extension cords to access any electrical supply for laptops or other devices.
