NYSSCPA Member Dues

  NYSSCPA Member Dues Rates for Fiscal Year 2012/13

The NYSSCPA’s fiscal year runs from June 1–May 31. First year NYSSCPA member dues are prorated based on the fiscal quarter of application as follows: First Quarter, June 1–Aug. 31, regular annual rate; Second Quarter, Sept. 1–Nov. 30, 25% off; Third Quarter, Dec. 1–Feb. 28, 50% off; and Fourth Quarter, March 1–May 31, free. Student dues are not prorated.

Dues reduction application for members temporarily out of the work force 2012/13

CPA Members— Any person who is a certified public accountant (CPA) in good standing of New York State or any other state or U.S. jurisdiction is eligible to apply as a Regular CPA Member. This includes, but is not limited to, CPAs engaged at CPA firms, companies, non-profits, governments, and in academia. Out-of-state members: please note the separate rate listed below. Internationally certified accountants are eligible for Associate membership. Log in to pay dues online.

Associate (Non-CPA) Members—Non-CPAs are eligible for Associate membership if they fall into one of the following categories: accounting students; CPA candidates; CPA firm employees; accounting professionals supervised by a CPA (company, government, or nonprofit); accounting educators; or internationally certified accountants. IMPORTANT DUES PAYMENT INFORMATION

Credit Card Payments - The NYSSCPA accepts credit card payments for annual dues. Click here to pay online. Your invoice will be mailed to you.

Termination for unpaid indebtedness - Any member who is indebted to the Society for dues for more than two months shall be sent a notice by mail. Such notice shall state that such member's membership may be terminated unless the delinquency is corrected within one month from the date of the notice. If the indebtedness remains unpaid after the one-month period, the Board of Directors may terminate the membership.

Members qualifying for more than one dues category - must pay the highest amount attributable to the category for which he or she qualifies, with the exception of Associate CPA Candidate, Associate Student and Lifetime members.

CPAPAC
Contribution
The CPA Political Action Committee provides campaign contributions to state level public offices. This is a voluntary contribution which can be increased or reduced; simply cross out the suggested amount and recalculate the Total Due line.
Scholarship
Fund Contribution
The Excellence in Scholarship program targets New York State college accounting majors. Full-time and part-time students are granted scholarships of up to $2,500 per year by a statewide panel of CPAs, based on economic need and scholastic achievement.
COAP Fund
Contribution

The Career Opportunities in the Accounting Profession (COAP) program is a multi-day college and accounting career orientation program targeting minority groups historically underrepresented in the CPA profession. A volunteer advisory board at each location operates the program. This is a voluntary contribution which can be increased or reduced; simply cross out the suggested amount and recalculate the Total Due line.
