You think you've got a lot of credit cards? How many? Nope, that's not a lot. How do I know this even though I have no way of knowing in advance what you're even saying? Because I'm certain that no matter what number you just said, it pales before the world record holder for most number of valid credit cards: 1,497, at least according to ABC News. Naturally, this man, Walter Cavanagh, is also the world record holder for the longest wallet, possessing a 250 foot long, 38 pound monstrosity that still isn't enough to hold every credit card he's got: its capacity is a "mere" 800. 

With all his cards, Cavanagh has access to $1.7 million worth of credit. However, he only uses one credit card and pays it off every month, giving him a near perfect credit score.
