Report: Accounting to Become Even More Lucrative

Jar of changeAccounting, already quite a well-paying profession, is set to get even better next year, according to Accounting Today. As competition for talent among firms increases, it's estimated that average salaries for those in the accounting and finance fields will grow by 4.7 percent, higher than the 4.1 percent overall estimated average growth among all professions. This is the second highest growth area, Accounting Today reports, with tech jobs, sporting an expected 5.3 percent average increase, at the top.
