Mary Christina McNamara, a Staten Island CPA who worked as Albert Einstein's accountant many years ago, died last Wednesday, according to the
Staten Island Advance. More than 50 years ago, she had worked for the famous scientist who, at the time, was teaching in Princeton, NJ.

... she recounted the afternoon she had tea with the professor. He had asked if she understood his Theory of Relativity. When she replied negatively, Ms. McNamara reported that Einstein expressed surprise that such an educated, intelligent woman just did not get it," according to the article.
She worked at First Investor's Corp in Manhattan before retiring at 85. She was 99 years old when she passed away.
