The New York State Society of CPAs (NYSSCPA) is pleased to announce that, Patrick Moran, Vice President, Controller of Starline USA, Inc., was selected as the winner of the 2016 NYSSCPA SuiteSTAKES drawing on Tuesday, December 13. A live broadcast of the raffle drawing was televised via live-streaming app, Periscope, that evening during the Society’s Winter Wonderland Open House at 7:00 p.m.

Moran received two luxury suite tickets to a New Year’s Day game between heated intra-state rivals, the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets. As part of the luxury suite seats package, Moran will enjoy free amenities including gourmet catered food, an open premium wet bar, private bathroom, multiple flat-panel HD TVs, and a VIP parking pass during the game.

The SuiteStakes contest began Oct. 24 and raised more than $2,500! The funds raised are donated to The Moynihan Fund which helps fund the Society’s Foundation for Accounting Education non-profit initiative that provides support for academic scholarships, college readiness programs, and financial education initiatives to high school students, college students, and recent college graduates.

On Dec. 21, the NYSSCPA presented the grand prize to Patrick’s daughter, Kate Moran, whom accepted it on his behalf. Congratulations again, Patrick!
