David J. MoynihanOn St. Patrick's Day, the Foundation for Accounting Education officially launched The Moynihan Fund, an educational initiative created to honor the legacy of the late David J. Moynihan, the NYSSCPA's 2009-2010 president. 

Shortly thereafter, an anonymous Society member challenged his fellow CPAs to live up to Dave's example and raise $10,000 by Thursday, May 14, the night of the Society's 118th Annual Meeting and Dinner. If we succeed, the donor—whose identity will be revealed at the dinner—will match the $10,000 with a personal donation of that same amount. 


As of today, we're $3,655 short of that goal.
