Who We Are

The Accounting and Auditing Oversight Committee provides a forum to the six accounting and auditing committees of the NYSSCPA to determine whether guidance, support or coordination is necessary.

What We Do

  • Supports committees interaction with Society Leadership

Who Should Join

Members of the NYSSCPA who have expertise in accounting and auditing and significant experience in related committee activities, generally as a former chair.

Meet others with accounting and auditing experience. Provide input to those who make policy decisions regarding regulations, accounting and auditing pronouncement, and other reporting matters. Provides assistance to other committees and coordinate their activities.
