| President's Message | | Manhattan/Bronx Chapter Planning 'Well-Rounded' Event Schedule By Roman Matatov Manhattan/Bronx Chapter President A new fiscal year has begun and with it arrives new faces, new names and a renewed optimism about our most respected and trusted profession. As your Manhattan/Bronx Chapter's new president and, equally important, as a member of this great chapter, I express my gratitude to Todd K. Ichihara, the chapter's immediate past president, as well as the rest of the chapter's officers, directors and committee chairs for their steadfast commitment to serving our membership and for leading our chapter's success during the past year. The chapter is planning many events during this fiscal year, centered around a topic structure outlined by my predecessor during his term. The four areas comprise technical skills, personal growth, giving back and social networking. The events scheduled this year by the chapter are intended to offer a well-rounded curriculum, and the chosen topics reflect members' feedback and participation. The terrific attendance and participation at most of our events, whether they were technical or social, are encouraging and indicate that the chapter is doing something right. I encourage each of you to continue to interact with the chapter and let its officers know how it can continue to help its membership grow.
