| Deloitte Moving in Chicago CHICAGO -- Deloitte & Touche's Chicago office is moving to a new office tower on Wacker Drive, according to sources familiar with the matter, ChicagoBusiness.com reported. Connecticut-based Deloitte & Touche has not determined how much space it will take in the new building, which was proposed by Chicago developer John Buck Co. But Deloitte -- the anchor tenant for the new building -- has indicated that it will need at least 300,000 square feet and as much as 500,000 square feet. Deloitte & Touche in Chicago currently leases 315,000 square feet at Two Prudential Plaza, 180 N. Stetson Ave. In recent months Deloitte, which has a lease at Prudential through June 2005, had been considering whether to stay at its current location or move to one of several high-profile new projects. Among the properties the firm looked at were a proposed office tower backed by Chicago's billionaire Crown family at Randolph and Franklin streets, and a building proposed by Chicago restaurateur and developer Larry Levy and Houston-based Hines Interest L.P. at Lake and Canal streets. -- NYSSCPA.org News Staff | |
