MINUTES

Call to Order
Ms. Newman-Limata noted that a quorum was present and called the meeting to order at 11:05 a.m.

Consideration of proposed NYSSCPA Testimony before the N.Y. State Higher Education Committee Meeting on February 6, 2002

Ms. Newman-Limata began by reading a communication from Executive Committee member Stephen F. Langowski, who could not attend the meeting. A discussion ensued regarding the text of the testimony. Mr. Nelson moved to accept the testimony with the changes suggested during the discussion. Mr. Frank seconded the motion. The vote was unanimously in favor of the motion.

Mr. Colson was directed to redraft the testimony to incorporate the discussed changes. The final draft is included as Attachment A. Ms. Pendergast, Mr. Love, and Mr. Fetterman were thanked for their input and assistance in developing the testimony.

Adjournment
Ms. Newman-Limata asked if there was any further business to come before the meeting. There being none, the meeting adjourned at 12:17 p.m.
