CPA High School Outreach

Leaders foster leadership. That is why the NYSSCPA is inviting you to share your expertise and professional experiences with one of New York State’s greatest assets our future CPAs.

The NYSSCPA is striving to give every high school student in New York State the opportunity to meet and talk with a New York CPA about the profession.

That’s where you come in. If you have a few hours to dedicate to the high school students in your neighborhood or any New York state community, please consider taking that next step and contact me, Henry Montero, NYSSCPA Student Recruitment Coordinator.

No matter your practice area, if you’re a CPA you have something valuable to offer these students. Please consider discussing with our future CPAs one or a few of the following topics in an hour-long session:

  • Industry and Business
  • Public Accounting
  • Forensic Accounting
  • Government
  • Information Technology and Consulting
  • Tax and Financial Planning
  • Education
