Yen D. Tran, CPA, Elected NYSSCPA Director-at-Large

NEW YORK, NY, MAY 14, 2012 – The New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA) has installed Yen D. Tran, CPA of Manhattan, as a director-at-large at its 115th Annual Election Meeting & Dinner held at the New York Marriott Marquis on May 10. Tran is a tax partner in the PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP Asset Management Practice in New York City. Tran’s term is for three years and begins on June 1, 2012.
Tran joined the NYSSCPA in 1997. She is currently a member of the Taxation of the Financial Instruments & Transactions committee. She is a member of the Manhattan/Bronx Chapter.
 
Tran is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
 
Tran graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor of business administration degree in accounting and finance, and a masters in professional accounting degree in taxation.
