New York, NY, May 10, 2012 – The New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA) installed Suzanne M. Jensen, CPA of Schenectady as a Vice President at its 115th Annual Election Meeting & Dinner held today at the New York Marriott Marquis at Times Square. Jensen is Chief Financial Officer of The Business Council of New York State, Inc.
Jensen joined the NYSSCPA in 1998 and served as a member of its Board of Directors, Executive Committee and its Governance Subcommittee. She is a member of its Not-for-Profit Organizations and Finance committees and its Not-for-Profit Task Force. She previously served on its Audit and Professional Ethics committees.
She was also a member of the Executive Board for its Northeast Chapter and the chapter’s Not-for-Profit Organizations committee. She currently serves as a member of the chapter’s Chief Financial Officers committee.
Jensen earned her bachelor of science degree in Accounting from Russell Sage College in Troy.
