NEW YORK - (June 11, 2015) - Rochester CPA, Jack Carr, shareholder of Bailey, Carr CPAs, P.C., has been elected director-at-large by the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. His three-year term began June 1.
Carr is currently a member of the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Terrorist committee. In the past, Carr served as chair and vice chair of the Professional Ethics Committee.
Carr graduated from Brockport State College in 1985 specializing in accounting and finance. He has attained the designation of Certified Financial Forensics and Certified Fraud Examiner, and is the past president of the Western New York Chapter Certified Fraud Examiners. Carr has been a Society member since 1991 and is a member of the Rochester Chapter who resides in Pittsford.
