NEW YORK - (June 23, 2015) –Jennifer George, CPA from Wallkill, has been elected vice president of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants’ Board of Directors. Her one-year term began June 1.
George has previously served as a member of the Board of Directors as well as the president, vice president, and executive committee member of the Society’s Mid Hudson Chapter. She is also a graduate of the McGladrey Partner Development Program and the Ulster County Leadership Development Institute.
George is currently a member of the Peer Review and FAE Curriculum committees.
George received her BSBA and master’s degree in accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. George joined the Society in 2000 and is a Mid Hudson Chapter member.
