New York CPA, Christopher G. Cahill Elected NYSSCPA Vice President

NEW YORK - (June 12, 2015) - The New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants elected Christopher G. Cahill, partner at Deloitte & Touche LLP, located in New York, as vice president. His one-year term began June 1.

Cahill previously served on the Board of Directors as a director-at-large and is also a past member of the Banking and SEC Practice committees. He also serves as a member of the Society’s Audit Committee. 

Cahill is a graduate of St. John’s University, with a BS in accounting and serves on the University’s Department of Accounting and Taxation Executive Advisory Board. He also holds an MBA in finance from Baruch College in New York.

Cahill joined the Society in 1991 and is a member of the Manhattan/Bronx Chapter.  His other professional affiliations include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New York Banker’s Association and the Institute of International Bankers.
