New York, NY, May 12, 2012 – The New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA) installed Christopher G. Cahill, CPA of Floral Park Village as a Director-at-Large at its recent 115th Annual Election Meeting & Dinner at the New York Marriott Marquis at Times Square. Cahill is a partner with Deloitte & Touche LLP, serving clients primarily within the Financial Services sector.
Cahill, a NYSSCPA member since 1991 currently serves as a member of the Society’s Banking Committee and was a past member of its SEC Practice Committee. He is a member of the NYSSCPA Manhattan-Bronx Chapter.
Cahill’s other professional affiliations include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New York Banker’s Association and the Institute of International Bankers.
He is a graduate of St. John’s University, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and serves on the University’s Department of Accounting and Taxation’s Executive Advisory Board. He also holds an MBA in Finance from Baruch College in New York.
