No matter if your question relates to corporate, personal or sales taxes; or if your issue involves rent control, tax liens, abatements, counterfeiting, use taxes or tax scams; the leaders of the Connecticut, New Jersey, New York and New York City’s tax departments are aiming to give you the relief you need.
The New York State Society of CPAs’ annual Tri-State Taxation Conference, nysscpa.org/tristate15, will be held Wednesday January 21 at their 14 Wall Street location in downtown Manhattan. The all day event offers the unique opportunity to directly question and network with tax agency heads covering the 19 million people living in four tri-state taxing jurisdictions.
Learn the impact of new developments in each jurisdiction and understand how these developments will affect you, your clients and their planning strategies.
Speakers Include:
- Keynote speaker Joe Huddleston, Executive Director, Multistate Tax Commission
- Nonie Manion, Executive Deputy Commissioner, New York State Department of Taxation and Finance
- Michael J. Bryan, CPA, Director, New Jersey Division of Taxation
- Kevin B. Sullivan, JD, Commissioner, Connecticut Department of Revenue Services
- Jacques Jiha, PhD., Commissioner, New York City Department of Finance
In addition to the four directors and commissioners, each agency has agreed to bring "problem solving" representatives to attend the conference from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for private one-on-one consults with conference attendees needing or requiring on the spot help.
All attendees are eligible to receive 8 CPE Credits. A live video webcast of the event is also available.
