Linux
If
your client asked you what LINUX is and should they
be using it what would you say. Do you or your client
have a Novell or Windows based LAN that is constantly
crashing and suffers performance and reliability problems?
Did you buy your Windows NT networking software because
it was cheap and easy to install and then found you
have never ending, ongoing, and increasing consultant
bills to maintain your network because your MCSE trained
network administrators lack the required skills. Should
you move to Windows 2000 or XP which can cost you
as much as $20,000 for the operating system and $250
per workstation? Did you know that the LINUX network
operating system is more reliable than any version
of Windows, more secure from hackers, and is FREE.
So what's the catch? Even though LINUX is free, it
is more difficult to install, maintain, and manage.
You actually need network administrators or consultant
that know what they are doing. But should you go with
Windows instead of LINUX because with Windows your
high-priced network administrator or consultants only
need to be click-kiddies? Learn the facts about LINUX
and why you should consider it as a viable alternative
for your firm and clients.
