the Annual Meeting of CPAs, Bankers and Attorneys sponsored
by the Utica Chapter and the Society.
About
94 people attended the function, according to Utica Chapter

open bar and cocktail networking in addition to a featured speaker,
and took place at Yahnundasis Golf Club in New Hartford, N.Y.
This years speaker was Utica native Nicholas Matt, president
of the F.X. Matt Brewing Company. Matts topic was The
F.X. Matt Brewing CompanyFour Generations and Still Going.
Matt also spoke about Uticas business climate.
We
try to get a local businessman who speaks about their business,
Ritz said. Usually its a success story.
Utica
Chapter member John Barone organized the event, which
he said aimed to promote friendship among the areas professionals.
I
thought it was a successful meeting and a very interesting topic,
Barone said. The event, Barone said, has been happening annually
for approximately 25 years. Mr. Matt represents one of
our long-time local companies and gave us the history of the
company through the current day and also spoke about new business
in the area, progress in the area and what he sees in the future
for us.
