Rochester Chapter Officer Bios
Bill
Dresnack, President, is chair and associate professor
in the department of business administration and economics at
SUNY-Brockport, where he has taught a wide variety of courses
in accounting, tax and business law. He is a CPA and attorney
in New York and, prior to teaching, worked for two Big Four
firms and in industry. He also is an instructor for the Becker
Conviser CPA Review course and maintains a law practice.
Dresnack has a Bachelor of Science degree in management from
C.W. Post College, a Master of Science degree in accounting
from Binghamton University and a degree of Doctor of Jurisprudence
from the University at Buffalo. He is a member of the American
Institute of CPAs, the Institute of Management Accountants,
the American Accounting Association and the New York State and
Monroe County Bar Associations. |

Steven
Chatwin, President-Elect, is a senior accountant at
Bonn, Shortsleeve & Gray, LLP, where he has worked since
1998. He now represents individuals and businesses in a variety
of industries, including the hospitality, construction and professional
services industries. He also does a lot of work helping start-up
businesses with business plan projections and assisting them
in obtaining the appropriate form of financing for their business.
Chatwin has a Bachelor of Science degree from SUNY-Brockport.
He is involved with The Legal Connection and Partners in Community
Development and acts as a board member for the Pirate Toy Fund.
Chatwin also serves on the NYSSCPA’s Hospitality Committee. |

Steven
M. Morse, Vice President, is vice president and CFO
of Deloitte & Touche, LLP. In addition to his involvement
with the Rochester Chapter, he serves on several boards, including
the Trustees of New York Museum of Transportation and the National
Technical Institute for the Deaf Foundation. He is also a board
member on both the Treasurer and Finance Committee Chair of
the Susan B. Anthony House, Inc., and the Rochester School for
the Deaf.
Morse is a member of the AICPA, the Association of Financial
Professionals of Western New York and the Institute of Management
Accountants. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from Rochester
Institute of Technology. He resides in Penfield, N.Y., with
wife, Kim, and children, Kayla and Austin. In his spare time,
Morse enjoys playing the piano and following automobile racing.

| Harry
Howe, Treasurer, is associate professor and accounting
coordinator at the Jones School of Business, SUNY-Geneseo. Prior
to completing a PhD. at Union College, Howe held a variety of
executive positions in the construction and commercial real
estate industries in New York City and Albany. He has two sons,
Benjamin, a senior at Union College double-majoring in classics
and sociology, and Noah, a Brighton High School sophomore who
is very interested in architecture. His wife, Lauren, is a freelance
graphics artist. |

Bonnie
Chiappone, Secretary, has been a member of the Rochester
Chapter’s leadership team since 1999, formerly serving
as the Tax Committee cochair.
Chiappone works at Conlon and Company, CPA's, P.C., as an audit/tax
manager. She joined the firm in 2001 and works primarily with
small businesses and individuals. Prior to this she was a senior
tax consultant with Delloite and Touche, LLP, and worked for
other small and medium-sized firms.
Chiappone received her Bachelor of Science degree in accounting
from St. John Fisher College in 1996. She is a member of the
New York State Society of CPAs and the American Institute of
Certified Public Accountants.
