Not Everyone's a Winner
Lost a bundle in the financial crisis? Now you have a chance to feel like a winner again.
Investment startup Hedgeable is holding a contest to see who truly came out the worst from the financial crisis. People send in their portfolios, which are then analyzed for performance and risk. The “winner” gets an all expenses paid vacation to Rome, the former home of an empire undone by massive currency inflation, while runners up get trips to Iceland, the poorest performing stock market in the world, and Las Vegas, the foreclosure capital of America.
The losers also get a prize: schadenfreude.
But we’ve all got to apply by the Oct. 12 deadline.
