Scholarship

Participants in the COAP program are eligible to apply for a COAP College Scholarship. This scholarship provides $2,000 per year for up to five years, to students studying accounting at a college or university in New York State with the goal of becoming a CPA.

It is only open to COAP alumni from the program for the year in which they attended and are graduating high school (alumni from previous years who graduate that year are also eligible). For example, students who attend any one of the 2009 programs will become eligible for the scholarship in 2010, the year of their high school graduation. If an alumnus from a previous program is graduating from high school in 2010, he or she is also eligible.

Applications are sent to all qualifying alumni, and the form will also be posted at this site when applications are being accepted. The 2009 COAP Scholarship (for the 2008 class) is now closed.
